The LANX LX-ABS09 is an all-in-one portable power station with a 12.8V LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery and a built-in MPPT solar charge controller. It comes in two sizes, 600W and 1000W.
It suits households in Kenya that want a quiet backup for phones, laptops and lights during power cuts, as well as camping trips and outdoor work. It can be recharged from an AC adaptor, a solar panel or a car.

What is the difference between the 600W and 1000W versions?
The 1000W version has a higher rated output power and a larger battery (768Wh compared with 537Wh), so it can support bigger loads and store more energy.
What kind of inverter does it use?
The LX-ABS09 uses a modified sine wave inverter. If you plan to run appliances with motors or sensitive electronics, check that they are compatible with modified sine wave power.
